Trinity Mirror plc, the UK's largest newspaper publisher,
announces the disposal of eight free weekly newspaper titles to Johnston Press
plc for £16.1 million, payable in cash on completion.
The titles are distributed in and around Peterborough, Northampton and Derby. The disposal is subject to the approval of the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry.
