Phil Hall is to join Trinity Mirror's National
Newspaper division as Editorial Development Director.
In this newly created role, Phil will work closely with the five
national editors on a range of initiatives to further improve our
newspapers.
He will also have responsibility for the editorial management
function at MGN and Colin Harrow and his team will report directly to him.
Phil said: "I'm delighted to be working with the brightest
talents in national newspapers in this new exciting role.
"Trinity Mirror's award-winning national titles have the
potential for even greater success and I look forward to helping realise
it."
Phil joins us with a wealth of experience, including editing the
News of the World and Hello magazine.
More recently, he has been operating in a key development role
with the Press Association.
