From the 17th February there will be a new newspaper serving the
affluent North Warwickshire town of Kenilworth - The Kenilworth Citizen.
The Kenilworth Citizen will be Trinity Mirror's 40th newspaper
title in the Midlands and will be delivered to over 9,000 homes every week,
which is more than any other newspaper in the area.
The Citizen will achieve a penetration of 87% of homes and will
allow advertisers to reach a lucrative market , 71% of the adults are in the
ABC1 socio-economic group.
The average pagination of the Kenilworth Citizen will be 68
pages and each week will be packed with news and reviews on the local area and
carry all advertising platforms including recruitment, motors and
property.
The editorial team for the Kenilworth Citizen will be lead by
Coventry Weekly Newspaper's Group Series Editor, Andrew Punshon. Andrew has been
a journalist for almost 20 years and has worked for newspapers including the
Coventry Evening Telegraph and the Nuneaton Tribune. Andrew said, "We are
looking forward to watching it develop into the town's premier newspaper and we
will make sure it carries a good balance of stories for all the family."
