Trinity Mirror has rolled out a network of local job sites
across the UK ,
as part of the company's growth strategy for digital media.
New sites have been launched covering Merseyside,
Cheshire , the South East and the
North East, as well as a second site in
Wales and a
public jobs site for the North
West .
The company will complete coverage of its regional markets with
the launch in August of another site in the
Midlands .
The sites build on two successful launches in
Scotland and
Wales last
year.
The new launches deepen Trinity Mirror's presence in core local
markets across the
UK and
complement its national strength in online recruitment through its involvement
in Fish4.co.uk.
The new sites will work in concert with Fish4 (which includes
Fish4Jobs, the
UK 's biggest
recruitment website) to strengthen advertiser response.
The local sites offer jobseekers a high-quality job hunting
service, incorporating personalisation and search functionality, designed to
deliver a quick and precise job search.
Special features include daily email alerts to job seekers, a CV
matching service, featured employer profiles and job-related local news to
enable candidates to stay in touch with local opportunities.
As well as being able to promote their brands locally, the sites
offer recruiters user-friendly management tools.
David Black, Trinity Mirror's Director of Digital Media,
Regionals, said: "These sites complement our national strength through Fish4
with real local depth and provide precision targeting for advertisers and job
seekers in local markets."
Georgina Harvey, Managing Director, Regionals, said: "Following
these launches, we can deliver advertisers an unbeatable combination of the
leading local and regional newspapers, the leading
UK recruitment
site in Fish4, and now the leading local job sites."
The launches are backed by extensive marketing in Trinity
Mirror's regional newspaper titles.
