Mirror.co.uk has teamed up with fish4jobs to provide its users
with access to 40,000 job vacancies across the UK.
fish4jobs is the leading recruitment site in the UK, and
attracts 1.3m jobseekers every month.
The launch of a jobs channel is the latest in a series of recent
developments for the Daily Mirror's rapidly growing website.
Julia Smith, MGN's Head of Digital, said: "An important part of
our strategy has been to join forces with 'best-of-breed' partners, and
fish4jobs is the leading brand in online recruitment.
"This new channel will allow our users to access a broad range
of vacancies in all parts of the UK."
In addition to all of the jobs on the fish4jobs database, users
will also have full access to fish4's other jobseeking services, including email
alerts and the CV database.
"It's a great fit for both parties," said Sean Mahon, fish4's
Marketing Director.
"We carry jobs across many of the sectors that Mirror users work
in. Not only that, the Daily Mirror attracts readers and users from right across
the UK and fish4jobs carries the best regional spread of vacancies due to the
relationship we have with over 600 local newspapers."
Dominic Sumners, Sales Director at fish4jobs, added: "fish4's
clients will be delighted to access the Mirror's huge audience reach - we're
confident we'll generate excellent response from the partnership."
