Trinity Mirror North West and North Wales announce portfolio changes

Trinity Mirror North West and North Wales has been reviewing its publishing portfolio and office network structure and this will result in a number of changes to the existing portfolio of newspapers and the closure of a number of offices.

These moves will also require staff reorganisation which will result in some job losses and the consultation process has begun with affected staff today.

Trinity Mirror North West Regional Managing Director, Sara Wilde, said: "Taking the decision to make changes such as these is never easy, but I believe these changes will strengthen the power of our products in their marketplaces and meet both the needs of advertisers' and readers' in the face of challenging market conditions."
