Last week's successful launch of the The Coventry Telegraph and Birmingham Mail M-sites completed the roll out of the Group's 13 companion mobile sites in just over two months.
As with the previous M-site launches - including the Daily Mirror, Daily Record, Liverpool Echo and Birmingham Post - the final two were promoted both online and in paper to drive traffic to the new platform.
The 13 companion mobile sites across our national and regional titles cement Trinity Mirror's position at the forefront of UK mobile publishers.
Rick Gleave, Head of Interactive & Mobile, said: "The support we have received from each title has been tremendous and has established Trinity Mirror as the UK's largest provider of mobile news m-sites.
"However, our work is far from over. 2009 will see the roll out of our mobile roadshow to each title.
"This will enable us to develop marketing plans and commercial road maps for each title to ensure we deliver maximum traffic to our new m-sites.
"At the same time we will be focusing our attention on the cross platform commercial/sponsorship opportunities that mobile will bring as a third publishing platform."
