Our three UK national titles have a higher proportion of full-rate sales within their audited ABC circulations than any of their major competitors. This is an important consideration for advertisers who generally place higher value on full rate sales volumes than their discounted counterparts.
In December 2007 new colour presses became available for the Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror, making them the first national tabloids throughout the UK with the ability to print in full colour. This was achieved ahead of schedule and ahead of our competitors.
The Daily Mirror, launched in 1903, offers readers a balance of news, entertainment and sport. The Mirror is down to earth, caring but challenging and fun. It appeals to all ages and both men and women equally.
In the last year the title broke some of the country's biggest stories, and was voted Newspaper of the Year at the What the Papers Say Awards and the London Press Club Awards in 2007.
The Daily Mirror have begun to roll out a bold new look to enhance the tabloid's reputation as a modern, relevant newspaper.
The Daily Mirror is edited by Richard Wallace.
