Founded in 1884, the South Wales Echo has been the Voice of South Wales for over a century. An evening paper it covers Cardiff and its neighbouring areas.

Since its launch in 1989, Wales on Sunday has established itself as Wales' very own Sunday newspaper. It is the country's only national Sunday paper.
